Erin and I went on a trip up through Silverthorne Colorado, camping at Lake Dillon and going for a nice high altitude hike at Ptarmigan Peak, Zari our wonderful Shih Tzu did a good long bit of hiking but tired before us, so we ended up going back before finishing the trail. It’s still an incredibly beautiful hike full of great views and relaxing forest. Later in the hike there’s alpine tundra and this time of year, plenty of snow before you’re even out of the trees.
